This is a high quality and very efficient motor.
Happymodel’s new line of brushless motors are simply amazing. Originally designed for drones, they also work well on fixed wing aircraft with normal sized props. They feature very high quality materials and workmanship unmatched in any other motors in this class that we have tested here at Buzzard Models. Their performance is also best in class in both thrust to weight ratio and efficiency in grams of thrust per watt. This is a high quality and very efficient motor. The outer portion of the motor shaft measures 1.5mm dia. which is a press fit for many multirotor props on the market. We also have a special “short” propsaver available for these to work with standard 4mm bore props. Also available is a fiberglass “X” motor mount with the proper length mounting screws.
